Here at the farm we feature the wines of Yamhill County and, for obvious reasons, Jay McDonald's signature wine, E I E I O. To get a broad sampling of the best that the area offers, we suggest a visit to The Tasting Room in Carlton.  The Abbey 500 NE Captain Michael King Smith Way, McMinnville, Oregon 97128 (503) 434-4023 Home to Howard Hughes' mammoth Spruce Goose, still one of the largest planes ever built, is currently undergoing a $6.9 million dollar expansion including a centerpiece IMAX theater that will be one of the largest on the West Coast. The museum houses one of the finest collections of war birds ever assembled.

See sons and daughters of Secretariat, Seattle Slew, Mr. Prospector and Storm Cat. Also on the property is the 160 year old oak tree that grows on the actual burial site of famed Oregon pioneer Ewing Young.

Carlton, Ore. 97111 (503) 852-7010 Located in Carlton, this beautifully restored train station is wine maker Ken Wright's tribute to bygone days as he has recreated the original train depot in Carlton. The Depot features gourmet and specialty foods, Northwest magazines and books and Ken's other label, Tyrus Evan wines.

The Trappist Abbey and its monks are wonderful friends and they invite you to visit during your stay in our beautiful valley. Enjoy miles of forested walking trails, the serene setting of the grounds and meet the monks that are such wonderfully creative stewards of a variety of enterprises.
Third Street in McMinnville The quaintness, vibrancy and charm of Third Street in nearby McMinnville (host city for the International Pinot Noir Celebration held annually) rivals Portland's trendy Northwest 23rd Avenue.
